This page explains the normal AVL flow for Sunday service.
The goal is for every AVL volunteer to understand what needs to happen before service, during service, and after service.
Support the service without becoming a distraction.
AVL should help the congregation worship, hear clearly, see clearly, and follow along smoothly.
Arrive on time (845am) and begin preparing for 9am rehearsal
Basic responsibilities may include:
Powering on equipment
Checking microphones
Preparing ProPresenter
Checking cameras/livestream
Confirming worship team needs
Helping with soundcheck
Making sure the stage is clean and ready
Soundcheck is used to confirm that the worship team, band, microphones, IEMs, tracks, livestream audio, and sanctuary sound are ready.
During soundcheck:
Pay attention
Avoid unnecessary talking
