AVL Serving Areas

New volunteers may serve in one or more AVL areas.

Audio

Helps with soundboard, microphones, monitors, IEMs, worship team soundcheck, and livestream audio.

Visual

Helps with ProPresenter, lyrics, scriptures, projectors, screens, lower thirds, and announcements.

Video

Helps with cameras, livestream, ATEM switching, OBS, overlays, sermon recording, and online viewer experience.

Lighting

Helps with worship lighting, sermon lighting, countdown looks, service looks, and special event lighting.

Training Path

New volunteers should not be expected to learn everything immediately.

A simple training path:

1. Watch the service flow.
2. Shadow a current AVL team member.
3. Learn one station at a time.
4. Practice during rehearsal or setup.
5. Serve in a simple role.
